Arriving at Blaise Diagne airport
Blaise Diagne International Airport (AIBD) is the main air gateway to Dakar. During the Games (31 October – 13 November 2026), many arrivals are expected: athletes, delegations, journalists, families and business travellers.
After a long flight, queuing for a taxi and negotiating a fare is rarely ideal. Arranging your transfer in advance makes arrival simpler.
Option 1: transfer with a driver
A driver meets you and takes you to your accommodation in Dakar, Diamniadio or Saly. AIBD–Dakar and Dakar–AIBD have dedicated pages with prices when set. It is the simplest solution for a first arrival.
Option 2: rental car delivered at the airport
You can pick up a rental vehicle at the airport. Delivery is offered by category (saloon, SUV, 4x4, prestige) with the price shown during booking. Give your flight number and arrival time.
On departure
Return the vehicle to the office, the airport or another address depending on your booking options. Leave early for the airport during the Games. Any return fee appears in the summary.
Preparing your arrival in 5 points
1) Share your flight number and arrival time. 2) Give your destination in Dakar, Diamniadio or Saly. 3) State the number of people and bags. 4) Keep the agency's number. 5) Agree payment arrangements in advance (deposit, balance).
Arriving as a group
For a delegation or a family with lots of luggage, ask for a 7-seater or several vehicles so the group can arrive together.
Frequently asked questions
